About CreatorsMetrics

CreatorsMetrics is a free resource built for YouTubers who want to understand their numbers, grow their channels, and make smarter decisions without paying for overpriced tools or wading through vague advice.

What CreatorsMetrics Does

This site offers three things:

  • Free calculators and tools β€” estimate your YouTube earnings, check your RPM and CPM, calculate watch time, and verify your YPP eligibility without signing up or paying anything.
  • Honest reviews β€” in-depth, no-hype reviews of tools like TubeBuddy, vidIQ, and Canva, written from the perspective of an actual creator who has used them.
  • Practical guides β€” clear explanations of how YouTube monetization actually works, written in plain English without jargon or filler.

Who Runs It

My name is Ibrahim Ramadhani. I am a creator and tool builder based in MΓΌnchen, Germany. I built CreatorsMetrics because I was frustrated with the lack of straightforward, accurate resources for small and mid-size YouTubers.

Most YouTube monetization calculators I found were either wildly inaccurate, plastered with ads, or designed to upsell you on something. The guides were recycled from each other. The reviews were clearly written by people who had never used the tools.

I wanted to build something better β€” something I would actually use myself.

Why It Was Built

I started CreatorsMetrics to fill a real gap. When I was growing my own channel, I spent hours trying to understand how RPM differed from CPM, why my earnings fluctuated, and whether tools like TubeBuddy were actually worth the money. I could not find a single site that answered these questions clearly and honestly.

So I built one. Every tool, guide, and review on this site is designed to answer the questions I had β€” and the questions I kept seeing other creators ask.

The Approach

Everything on CreatorsMetrics is free. There are no paywalls, no mandatory sign-ups, and no premium tiers for the core tools. The site is supported through Google AdSense ads and affiliate commissions from tools I genuinely recommend. That is it.

When I recommend something, it is because I believe it is worth recommending. When something is not worth it, I say so.

What You Will Find Here

CreatorsMetrics covers the practical, numbers-focused side of YouTube content creation. Specifically:

  • RPM and CPM tools: The RPM Calculator and CPM Calculator help you understand your exact revenue rate and what drives it. The CPM vs RPM guide explains the difference clearly, with real examples and math that most creator resources get wrong.
  • YPP eligibility tracking: The YPP Eligibility Checker gives you a clear pass/fail on every YouTube Partner Program requirement simultaneously. The Watch Time Calculator projects your timeline to 4,000 hours based on your actual performance data.
  • Thumbnail performance tools: The Thumbnail CTR Estimator benchmarks your click-through rate against real YouTube data. The CTR improvement guide gives you specific, actionable techniques rather than generic advice.
  • Tool reviews: In-depth reviews of TubeBuddy, vidIQ, and Canva for YouTube β€” all based on direct, paid, long-term use of the tools, not a summarized version of their marketing pages.

Editorial Standards

Every calculator on this site uses real, documented YouTube data for its defaults β€” not made-up averages. When I cite CPM ranges, RPM benchmarks, or retention statistics, they are based on publicly available YouTube Creator Academy data, verified creator reports, and direct channel experience. I update figures when YouTube’s own data changes.

Reviews are written only after meaningful hands-on use β€” typically six months or more of active paid subscription. I do not accept money from tool companies to influence review scores or content. Affiliate links generate commission at no cost to you, and they are disclosed on every page that contains them.

If you spot an error, an outdated figure, or something that does not match your experience, please reach out. I take corrections seriously and update content promptly when something changes.
